From weekend plays to global music festivals to museums showcasing priceless works, art undeniably impacts our lives. Every five years, Americans for the Arts conducts an impact study revealing the significant economic and social influence of the nonprofit arts sector in the US. California, recognizing the enduring benefits of arts, established the California Arts Council Exchange in 1976. The Riverside Arts Council is a local affiliate with many events such as The Riverside Arts Walk and programs including Art as Therapy.
