Impact Story – The Future of Community Colleges in Riverside County
Community colleges offer higher education opportunities to many in Riverside County. With their partnerships with business and industry, the future looks bright for workforce development in our county. The California State Department of Industrial Relations has more about apprenticeships in Calfornia, and the MSJC website has information about their new building and what it will offer to the region.
The City of Temecula was recently selected to receive a $50 million dollar grant to help alleviate traffic at the I-15/215 interchange. You can read more about it here
Riverside County’s population of 2.5 million people requires more resources to keep up with education needs. Fortunately, California State University San Marcos in Temecula has plans for expansion in order to accommodate more people who are interested in higher education.
