Lake Fulmor in Idyllwild is a great place for day use. Take a hike around the lake, enjoy  lunch at one of their many picnic tables, bring a camera for the wonderful wildlife scenery, and lots of worms for their full access fishing pier.

Idlywild’s idyllic little mountain town offers many great restaurants, unique shops and a plethora of hiking trails with some amazing views…totally worth the effort!

Lake Perris, another Riverside County fishing spot known for their Large Mouth Bass, offers water sport fun including jet ski and boat rentals, camping and beach areas for swimming and picnics.

Diamond Valley Lake, nestled in Hemet doesn’t allow body contact, but calls for some great fishing and incredible hiking and biking trails.  On the East side of the lake, you’ll find an awesome waterpark…and Dinosaurs!! A must see – the Western Science Center Founded in 2006 and is now the largest natural history museum in Riverside County.

Like the heat, but LOVE the mountains? Get the best of both worlds with the Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs. (From 105 at the bottom to a cool 80 at the top in the peak summer season)

Pins ‘n Pockets in Lake Elsinore seriously has something for everyone. They have an escape room, 36 bowling lanes, a huge arcade, billiards, a bar and even laser tag. You nor the kids could ever get bored.
