It has been a very unique time for everyone…and that is putting it mildly. Part of the work being done at JDS Creative Academy involves teaching a very intensive Video Production Day Program to almost 20 Adults with Special Needs, to prepare them to enter the Workforce. This Award Winning Team inspires us on a daily basis!
While our staff may have encountered ZOOM burnout over the last 12 months…our participants never complained! At least three times a day everyone would join multiple Zoom sessions for training, production of a Radio Program – heard on 102.5 The Vine, as well as classrooms where they would create projects from their home offices, to be shared with everyone daily, or weekly. The sheer logistics were staggering, let alone the creativity demonstrated by these incredibly talented individuals day in and day out!
So when we were able to open the doors to JDS Studios and welcome participants back in small groups…well the excitement was palpable! Finally we could produce the LIVE SOI Update Program once again, sharing local stories, events, traffic, and weather for Southwest Riverside County from the Studios in Temecula…it seemed like forever ago since we were able to do it…and it kind of was. But true to form – the writers, producers, camera techs, edit crew, talent and production team came together and delivered! We think it’s pretty great…but will leave it up to you for the final say!!
