Impact – Importance of HBCUs

For over 150 years, generations of Black leaders have attended historically black colleges and universities, otherwise known as HBCUs. These schools, known for fostering supportive and culturally rich environments, are attracting more students than ever. And thanks to the work of the National College Resources Foundation, San Diego County Office of Education, and Huston-Tillotson University, there will now be an HBCU in California.

Additionally, the National College Resources Foundation holds College Expos all around the country, where you can learn more about HBCUs and other colleges.
