COVID-19/SCHOOLS REOPENING
Saint John’s school in Hemet and Cornerstone Christian in Wildomar are two out of the 14 schools in Riverside County that submitted waivers. These two private schools have been approved for in-person education and will resume classes on September 1st. All other schools throughout the county are closed for in-person education until the county falls into the next tier level. Under this new four-color-tiered system, Riverside falls into the purple category meaning most non-essential indoor operations are closed. However, in Riverside County, malls can reopen at 25 percent capacity and hair salons and barbershops can reopen.
