JDS Creative Academy has reinvented what the City of Temecula recognized as the International Temecula Film and Music Festival into what is now referred to as DigiFestTM Temecula. DigifestTM Temecula is a vehicle for the community and region to come together and experience digital media in many creative and artistic forms. DigifestTM Temecula is also a place to learn about industry advancements, how to pursue a career in the industry, and how to incorporate digital arts into the economic culture. DigifestTM also acknowledges talent in the industry at all levels and ages, incorporating 6th-12th graders, amateurs, and professionals.
The 3rd annual 3-Day DigiFestTM event was held April 12th, 13th, 14th, 2019, at JDS Creative Academy in Temecula. Attendees enjoyed digital gallery exhibits, renowned industry speakers, workshops, screenings, and a grand finale awards banquet where they could share insights and gain knowledge from our Industry Panelists. DigifestTM also offered a competition aspect to the festival with a unique opportunity for students, amateurs and professionals to present their exceptional digital work in several digital mediums. Entry categories include: Websites, Graphic Designs, Comics, Films (30 minutes and under), Animation, Photography, Music and Special Effects.
